Paint Decontamination

The paintwork of your car can become contaminated by many harmful substances, such as road tar, metal filings from acid rain, tree sap and bird droppings. It’s important to remove all contaminants before carrying out any paint correction or polishing.

Magic Touch uses special products and very subtle techniques to carry out this work. These include iron remover, which dissolves ferrous metals that contain iron. This process removes iron from car paint, wheels, glass, chrome and aluminum. Removing these ferrous metals will slow the corrosion process. Ferrous metals get into places that ordinary washing and claying cannot get to. Clay bar is used to remove finer impurities and overspray (excess paint from a previous body repair).

These treatments will restore the paintwork to a smooth, clean finish, ready to make any correction, protection and finishing treatments as specified within your chosen service.
